Training:

  Compton Harriers ....

 Cater for a range of standards and levels of participation

 Enter a variety of races: road; cross-country; trail; relays

 Train for about an hour or so on Thursday evenings (Club Night) mostly off-road

 Long runs - with "run-backs" to encourage slower runners (+ short-cuts for Mo!)
 Shorter intervals and hill sessions, at your own pace
 Monthly handicap race

Away-days throughout the summer months at a variety of locations in Berkshire & Oxfordshire

 Tuesday evening speed sessions, week-end and other sessions for the more dedicated members

The emphasis being on enjoyment and personal achievement in a sociable group

 Meet at 6.15 pm for Club Night

 At the "Pickled Pig", off Churn Road (Adjacent to the cricket field)
 Compton, Nr. Newbury, Berkshire

Adjourn to the pub for post-run warm-down on club nights (Thursdays)
